Certified to ISO 9001:2015
With pleasure, we announce that our ISO Certification has been reaffirmed under ISO 9001:2015. It took a lot of rework and rewrites, but the result is a leaner and more purposeful quality management system.
What is new in ISO 9001:2015?
ISO 9001:2015 places a lot of emphasis on risk management. Risk awareness and preparedness was implicit in 9001:2008. Any company taking continual improvement seriously will have implemented necessary steps already. However, the new standard makes risk assessment explicit and asks for relevant procedures and documentation.
We reworked our whole quality management system in the spirit of 9001:2015. We rewrote our quality manual and all of our procedures. In many cases, we were able to remove redundant information. This allowed us to focus on vitally important elements. As a result, our manual may have gained a few pages. For example, we added a risk register and spelled out who needs to communicate to whom and when. But overall our quality management system feels leaner, more readable, and more pragmatic.
How does this affect our clients?
For the most part, not much. Our manufacturing clients especially know that we have long carried ISO certification. They are aware that we are working with a quality management system. We track key process indicators and regularly discuss real or potential problems and their solutions. We use corrective actions when needed and encourage all project participants to suggest improvements.
In short, we strive to complete projects before their deadline, on budget, and at high quality. We do not rest until our clients are fully satisfied. High customer loyalty, the large number of referrals, and our solid reputation are testament. At the same time, translators like to work with us. They feel respected and give us high approval rates on translator forums.
With this in mind, we celebrate our certification to ISO 9001:2015 as another stamp of approval for our quality policy. We thank you for your continued trust. Rest assured that we will employ risk management to your benefit.
