This week’s blog post has nothing to do with translation. I am taking this opportunity to clear up some confusion. Since the debut of our new website in February of this year, we have gotten a lot of misdirected traffic. There are several ways we became aware of this, all of which are irrelevant. What is important for our visitors to know is one thing: The Geo Group Corporation IS NOT the same as The Geo Group Inc.
The fact that The Geo Group Corporation and The Geo Group Inc. both go by the shortened name of “The Geo Group” likely contributes to the confusion as far as searching for the companies via Google, Bing, Yahoo, etc. But rest assured—other than a common name, these two companies are worlds apart.
