Mark Kostecky is the Manager of The Geo Group’s Desktop Publishing Department. With over 20 years of desktop publishing experience Mark brings a wealth of knowledge and practical skills to the table.
Mark was born and raised in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and graduated from the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse with a Bachelor of Science in Geography and a Minor in Earth Sciences.
After a year in the Geography Masters program at the University of Wisconsin – Madison, Mark took the opportunity to begin his career with a cartography firm here in Madison. There, Mark honed his desktop publishing skills designing maps for clients such as National Geographic, Encycolpedia Britanica and Rand McNally.
Mark manages a team of four in-house desktop publishers as well as a host of sub-contractors. He and his team guide The Geo Group’s clients through the process of formatting and design for translation, accommodating each project’s customized needs. Clients appreciate his willingness to adapt to every challenge.

Frank Sommers has been helping international clients deliver their message for nearly two decades. His corporate video work has garnered awards while his independent film work (writer/director) has received strong reviews from such places as the Onion AV Review. His new position as AV Department Manager for The Geo Group allows him to combine his passion for media with an expansive focus on delivering the right message to the right audience.
